Mask Ballade

Mask Ballade is the second short film I had the pleasure of working on as a 2D Compositor alongside the talented Lorenzo Taddei Criollo. While Light Hunter focused on cool, atmospheric environments, Mask Ballade presented a completely different visual challenge. The film revolves around elegant ballroom interiors, with warm lighting, rich orange tones, and an intimate atmosphere that defined its visual identity.
All compositing was completed entirely in Foundry Nuke. My work focused on integrating render passes, balancing lighting and color, refining depth and atmosphere, and enhancing the final look while staying true to the artistic direction of the project.
It was a pleasure collaborating once again with Lorenzo Taddei Criollo and contributing to the final look of the film through compositing.
